Touchpool

The Touchpool is a small ecosystem where you need to be careful!
You must not touch the water! Touch tank sessions are scheduled.

The Touchpool is an interactive aquarium where you can not only observe but also touch the displayed organisms!
This unique aquarium aims to represent the intertidal environment of the Ria Formosa and some tidal pools from the rocky beaches of the Algarve coast.

This aquarium brings together living organisms from various groups, from algae to the main groups of invertebrates (Cnidarians; Annelids; Arthropods; Mollusks; Echinoderms), as well as chordates, represented by urochordates (sea squirts) and vertebrates (fish).
